A special thanks to Resident, Kate Jennings, who recently organised a day trip for 47 of our Residents to visit Wellington Dam and see the world’s biggest dam mural which was opened by WA Premier Mark McGowan earlier this year.
The mural is titled “Reflections” and is inspired by local stories, photographs and memorabilia. It symbolises the cultural significance of the waterways and the future of the Collie River as a place of natural beauty, recreation and solidarity.
The Residents were in awe of this world class artwork and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get up close to view the detail that has gone into creating such an iconic landmark in our beautiful South West region.
