Nova’s Pool is Back and Better Than Ever!

We are excited to announce that the Nova Village pool refurbishment has been completed! Our pool shell and deck have undergone resurfacing after many years of constant use. We pride ourselves at Nova in the provision and maintenance of our first-class facilities, which contribute greatly to the quality of resort-style living that our residents enjoy.

Our heated swimming pool affords residents the convenience of year-round access to water fitness and hydro-therapy, at their doorstep. It is well known that healthy ageing involves regular exercise for building strength, flexibility, endurance, mobility and balance, slowing age-related loss of muscle mass, increasing metabolism, improving cardiovascular health, aiding quality of sleep and positively impacting mental outlook.

Water in particular enables unloading of the joints to provide low-impact and low-weight bearing exercise, which can allow for stiff and aching joints to move more freely and can minimise the risks of injury – all the while continually strengthening muscles and joints through the constant resistance. A warm aquatic environment also reduces joint inflammation and improves circulation.
