As you read this, first and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well. The spread of Covid-19 has brought many challenges to all and horrible loss to some for which we as a community deeply empathise with. Sadly, our beloved South West region, local businesses and close-knit communities have not been left untouched by these difficult circumstances. These are certainly testing times but we are greatly encouraged by the swift and targeted action taking place by Federal and State Government to protect regional areas and help sustain families and businesses through this period.<\/p>\n
At Nova Village Busselton we have implemented protective measures across the operation of our village to further ensure the safety and well being of our residents. Community facilities are temporarily closed and strict social distancing is being practised by residents, maintenance teams and management staff. Unsurprisingly in these challenging times we have seen the Nova Village community come together, demonstrating a support and care for one another that is admirable. We would like to thank Nova residents for checking on their neighbours, encouraging each other in staying active (through walks etc. together but at an appropriate distance from one another????), for helping deliver food, for maintaining communication and mental stimulation through the circulation of weekly village newsletters, puzzles and games. Thank you for your understanding and care in abiding by Government recommendations in order that we stay a safe community.<\/p>\n
A big thank you to our on-site chef Dan who has done a wonderful job adapting to the new normal in providing affordable and tasty takeaway meals for our village residents. Our village manager Rachael Crosby along with the Nova Management Team will be ensuring that our village runs effectively and safely throughout these unusual times. We greatly look forward to seeing the village and the broader community move strongly through this season, returning to the way of life we are fortunate to enjoy in this beautiful part of Western Australia.<\/p>\n
